It seldom snows in this area.
We have the milder climate here, but it snowed last Saturday.

I went to the cram school in time, but a lot of friends were late for the class.
They said "The bus stopped!"

I felt I was walking in melting sherbet.

There was no snow next day.
It disappeared as if it never existed.

I am sorry for not having updated.
My friends lend me a lot of CDs, DVDs, comic books and novels almost every day,
so I am busy reading these books, watching the DVDs and putting the music into my iTune.




My recent favorites are "The Prince of Tennis", "Saiunkoku Monogatari" and "Rosen Maiden"

How is your winter vacation?
I have had a good time.

I joined some Christmas events at school as a member of chorus club.
We sang hymns and winter songs.


I had a pot-luck party with my club members at school.
I baked a quiche, a kind oh French pie.
It was very fun. I love this party.



I went skiing in Hokkaido after Christmas.
Hokkaido is the prefecture where Toma was born and brought up until 5 years or so.
It was very freezingly cold.



I spent the New Year's day in a traditional way.
We ate special food and visited a temple.

冬休みは夏休みと違ってとっても短いもの、ですよね？
なのに学校といったら夏休みぐらいの宿題だすんですよ!?

それにクリスマス時期は忙しいんですよ。
コーラス部は色んなところで歌わないといけないんでねぇ。
でも好きですよ、ってか大好きです！
ある舞台は夜に行われるんですけど、始まる前にコーラス部のメンバーで持ち寄りパーティーをするんです。
私はキッシュを焼きました。
先輩に美味しいって言ってもらえて幸せです
クリスマスの後は、北海道にスキーに行きました。
すっごく寒かったです・・・。
それも間違えて上級者コースに迷い込んで、
怖かった・・・
死ぬかと思いました。
年末年始はおばあちゃんの家で過ごしました。

I went to Kyoto last Friday (October 12) with my friends.
We visited one shrine (Kitano Tenman-gu) and four temples
(Kinkaku-ji, Ryoan-ji, Ninna-ji and Myoshin-ji).

This is Kitano Tenman-gu, which was built to honor the god of learing and studying.
We bought a charm for learning and studying.

Summer vacation was over and the second term started
on the 10th of September.

I was very very busy for the last two weeks in summer vacation.

From 27th to 31st of August, I was in the summer
camp of the chorus club in Amanohashidate,
which is in the north part of Kyoto.



We practiced singing a lot and enjoyed BBQ, fireworks,
blowing bubbles, playing cards, etc.




From the 5th to 7th of September, I was in Okinawa with my family.
Though the sea was not very calm because of the influence of
a typhoon, we enjoyed snorkeling.

I was in the hell of homework in the end of my vacation.

My summer was not so bad!

I am sorry that I couldn't update. I have been very busy since
the mid-term tests ended. Some friends lent me a lot of comic books.
(Death Note, Hanazakari no kimitachi e, Holic, Bleach, Gintama etc.)
I have been very busy doing my homewrok and reading so many comic books.

I'm sorry I haven't written for a long time.
I have been busy with my club activities and my homework.

クラブの練習や宿題がたくさんあって、忙しかったんです。
