Nasu, a friend of mine gave me a birthday present.
It's a lip gloss. I was pleased because I didn't
have any lip gloss. I have a lot of lip balm but this
lip gloss is milky pink and glittering.

Today is my birthday but it is a weekday,
so nothing special happened to me...
I went to school and cram school, and
I was very tired. My mother ordered
a box set of DVDs a few days ago but
they are late for my birthday!
But I got other presents today.
They are very big fans of Massu and
Yamap. My mother ordered them on
Johnny's web in the middle of January
and they arrived just on my birthday!
And Dali gave me a very pretty card.

We sang a song to perform at entrance ceremony
for new students.
Its name is "Rejoice in the Load alway".
I usually practice with J2 and J1 students,
but today J3 and S2 students joined us. I was
standing in front of the door because there were
more people than usual. Then our club teacher
came into our club room and she stood behind me
suddenly. I was very surprised at her sudden
appearance. After she conducted us unduly
for a while, she went out of the room.
We were laughing a lot.

We don't go to school on Saturday, but I had
to go to school today. We held a rehearsal
of chorus club. We will give a farewell party
for J3 students on 3/14.
We sang "Towa ni tomo ni (With you forever)",
"Niji no mukou ni (Go over the rainbow)" and
"Shounenjidai (Boyhood)".
I was nervous because we sang on the stage of
our school hall and I accompanied my members
on the piano when they sang " Shounenjidai".
I should practice more.

It was rainy this morning. I was happy
because cedar pollen didn't circulate.

Today my friends and I were chatting about
Japan's birthrate during art class.
The birthrate was 1.26% in 2005. It was
lower than ever before, but the birthrate of
2006 will rise to more than 1.3%.
We heard about it on the news.

A : Why will it rise?
Me: It is a good news, isn't it?
A : Why?
B : If there are a lot of young people,
we will get a lot of pension, won't we?
A : I see. I will bear 11 children!

We have unusually warm winter this year.
Cedar pollen began to circulate earlier
than usual. I often sneeze and my eyes feel
itchy. I'm allergic to pollen. I bring a lot
of tissue paper to school every day.

My friend lent me the video tape of Music Station.
Last Friday I couldn't watch the program because
I was very tired and was sleeping then.
I repeated the tape five times.
Massu(Masuda Takahisa) was very cute.
He dances the best in his group. He is the best
singer in his group, too. I like their new song.
I want to be able to sing it and dance.

My most favorite drama is "Hana yori dango 2
(Returns)". It means "I like boys better than
flowers" maybe. It is a love story about a
very poor girl and super super rich boys.
When Tsukushi, the poor girl is in trouble,
the boys always help her.
What a sweet situation it is!
Every girl must want to be in her position.
Me too...

I am a member of chorus club. We practiced a
lot today. I always sing the alto part. I sang
"TAKE ME HOME, COUNTRY ROADS".
To stay on key is very difficult. I will be absent
from my club tomorrow because I will have test
in math the day after tomorrow.
I must prepare for it.

The end of a school year is coming. I will have
to take a lot of examinations soon. I will have
a big test in math at juku (cram school) next
Wednesday. I don't like geometric proof.

Today is a "Shoukura" day! I will watch NEWS and
YamaP on TV. They will sing their new song
"Hoshi wo mezashite (Reaching for stars) ".
I am looking forward to watching the program.
