The Low Birthrate
It was rainy this morning. I was happy because cedar pollen didn't circulate.
Today my friends and I were chatting about Japan's birthrate during art class. The birthrate was 1.26% in 2005. It was lower than ever before, but the birthrate of 2006 will rise to more than 1.3%. We heard about it on the news.
A : Why will it rise? Me: It is a good news, isn't it? A : Why? B : If there are a lot of young people, we will get a lot of pension, won't we? A : I see. I will bear 11 children!
